120 carefully selected professionals took part in the Technical Expert Meeting organised by System Brasil, held on 26 July 2016 at the System branch headquarters in Rio Claro.
An entire day dedicated to the exchange of technical information and the exploration of interesting technological news, as well as analyses of trends in the sector and the field of automation in ceramics manufacturing.
The speakers who took part in the event contributed to the opening of an interesting round table, dealing with highly topical subjects for the public attending.
Henrique Linhardt, a technical expert of System, presented the technological updates for the end-of-line, with a review of the supervision system Qualitron, the sorting system Multigecko and the4phases system for waste-free packaging. Emilio Benedetti, managing director and general manager of LB, together with Roberto Bonucchi, commercial director of LB, illustrated the dry grinding technology with micro-granulation Migratech and the powder preparation system Freestilefor large formats. Carlo Poppi, area manager of Poppi Clementino, introduced Fernando Pieri, commercial director of Poppi Brasil, who discussed the subject of converting residual energy into resources. Paolo Casarini, System expert in the field of digital printing, outlined the route towards “full digital” decoration, an authentic revolution for the ceramics sector, and which System has been focussing on for some time now. Lastly Ruben Mesas, general manager of the company System Brasil, contributed on the subject of warehouse space management, highlighting the managerial, financial and environmental opportunities of automated logistics.
The subject of large formats and technological equipment necessary for the preparation of the ceramic body and wet milling was dealt with by Maurizio Savoldelli, project manager of the South America Area ICF & Welko, while polishing, cutting and dry grinding on thickened materials were the main areas illustrated by Werter Mazzoni, local manager of BRM, introduced by Claudio Avanzi, area manager of BMR. The interventions that followed the Technical Expert Meeting concluded with the presentation by Enrico Quartieri, project manager of System Lamina, of the special features of pressing with System Lamina technology, with a more in-depth look at the latest technological news regarding the mould-free press LAMGEA.
This first edition of the Technical Expert Meeting, organised by the staff of System Brasil, concluded with great success, laying the foundations for future editions.
